Halloween II & A Long Weekend

The kids before they went Trick-Or-Treating in town. Reagan LOVED it and ran from house to house nearly shouting. "I see another lighted house!! Can we go to that one, too?!" She wanted to go to the door by herself, she remembered to say "Thank You" nearly every time. It was like I didn't even know her.

Grant had a giant melt-down at bedtime (7pm) and had to sit in the car with Daddy while Reagan got to go to her last 3 or 4 houses. The weather was perfect and it was a fun, great night with the kids :)

On Saturday we went to CF to meet baby Jonah and for the Halloween "party" with all the cousins. Here are a couple of pictures:

The kids and I stayed for Monday and Tuesday while Joel went home and to work. It was a pretty tall order to ask the kids to make the time change and to sleep in a different place, but they seemed to handle it as well as you could expect... :)

On Monday we were able to spend some time with Becky and Boaz, which was fun. The chaos of lunch and crying kids always makes it hard to just talk, but we managed as best we could... :)

Luckily, it was gorgeous outside so we were able to distract the kids from their over-tiredness and hunger pains pretty easily. Kaia and Grant spent lots of time in the sandbox and we raked up lots of leaves for the older kids to jump in.
And then the kids did "leaf raining" and 'un-raked' them -- only to rake them back up again and move them somewhere else... :)

It was a fun long weekend, and I am glad to be home! I am planning for the kids to sleep most of the day today -- lets hope they do not disappoint me ;-)
