Randomness

--> Riley finally decided that walking was worth her while - just days short of being 15 months old... :) She's so proud of herself, it makes me smile too :) I tried to upload a video, but can't get it to work.

--> There is something wrong with a boy playing Leapster while you change his diaper. (And I'm not saying it's the boy's fault. :)

--> Playing in the rain mud:

"Grant! Time to come in for nap!"

--> I tried to come up with a caption for this one... I have two - you can choose:

When You Leave Your 5-year-old Unsupervised Outside

When Joel is Your Dad

When Joel got home that afternoon, he was so proud and took this video:

More Birthday Pics

It seems that Reagan might be the most spoiled girl in the state... It felt like she had some sort of party or birthday celebration all week (and she loved it, of course).

Here are the pics:

Getting her Lego set on her birthday morning and her favorite lemon poppy-seed muffins for breakfast: Her first Lego house that she (and I) built that afternoon) (And thank you, Aunt Emily and family for her new dress to wear on her birthday!): A chicken leg at Hickory Park: "Happy, Happy Birthday on this your special day. Happy, Happy Birthday that's what we're here to say..." Her second Lego house we built a day or two later: And then we took the kids to the waterpark in "Big City" for Reagan's birthday: Dressed and ready to go: (the kids were so excited. They kept talking and running around - it was my favorite part -- seeing them so excited :) Having what we call "motel donuts" on Saturday morning. :) Grant was too scared to go down the "big slide" by himself, so he and Reagan teamed up to find a solution that worked for both of them :)

Preschool Musical

Reagan had her Spring Concert Thursday night and I was the proud mamma in the audience. (who saw only about half of it becuase Grant and Riley were squirmy :) The program was about David and Goliath and was called "The Slingshot Heard 'Round the World."

In case you have a need for cute, off-key singing and shaky video -- here you go: (Reagan is the one in the front-middle with a green dress and white sweater)

High 5!

Happy Birthday to you, Reagan!

I feel like I just put you down for your morning nap and now I have to wake you up in time for Kindergarten Round-Up... Where has the time gone?? :)

I think your best birthday present might be Kindergarten Round-Up in the morning... we'll see. You asked for supper at Hickory Park and for a set of Legos (with "constructions") to build a house. Sounds like a pretty good birthday! :)

Easter Was a Week Ago?

Here are the pics anyway... :)

Our Family: (click here for last year's pics :)
The kids ready to go hunt Easter Eggs:

On the way to Grandma & Grandpa's house we let Riley sit in the back and watch the movie with the 'big kids'. She liked the 'big kids' more than she liked the movie. :) Driving the tractors:
After the Easter Egg hunt:
A very happy Easter!
