Reagan makes me laugh at least once (usually more) each day. Here are two from this morning:
This morning Reagan was playing Blue's Clues on the computer. She had to take a bathroom break and since I was sitting next to her in the chair, she told me nicely not to finish her project for her and that she "would be wight back, okay?" So I said, "Okay, Reagan, I won't finish your game for you, I'll just wait for you." As she was walking away from me, she wanted to double-check that I understood her and that I wouldn't close her game so she told me again not to touch the computer and then said "You obey me?? Okay, Mommy? Don't touch it. You obey me?? Okay?" "Yes, Reagan, I'll obey you. I won't touch it."
Also this morning, I read Reagan the "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" book and then let her take it in the car to go meet Sadie. She was trying to read it for herself and then kept asking for help with the words. Since I was driving and I didn't know what page she was on, I wasn't much help and she finally quit asking. Pretty soon I hear from the backseat "and so he made a wed suit and he was just wike Happy Joe's!" and then a couple of pages later I heard, "and he sat, and he sat, and he sat, sat, sat, sat, and................. nofing came out!" (If you don't think that is as funny as I do, then you probably haven't read "Once Upon A Potty" enough.)
I just love her. :)

Ten things I never thought I would do......
Here's ten of my most surprising moments this year. I never thought I would get here...
10. Let Reagan eat fruit snacks from the floor of our van.
9. Let Reagan grab a public toilet seat with both hands. ugh.
8. Let several hours go by before changing my jeans that had baby poop on them.
7. Sing kid songs in front of anyone.
6. Dance to an Elvis song with my husband, my Dad and my 2-year-old.
5. Consider Easy Mac and canned peaches a "healthy" lunch.
4. Think a mohawk is cute on a baby.
3. Go to work with spit up (or a nose wipe or something?) on my collar.
2. Go to work wearing a sweater that I knew was out of style. (at least it was clean)
1. Let Reagan lick sprinkles off her fingers as she continued to decorate our Christmas cookies.
Let this be your warning - don't eat the Christmas cookies at our house...

Back to Sadie's!
This week is my sister, Sadie's first week "back to work". Not that having 3 kids of her own isn't work, but now she is also watching my two kids... 5 kids in one house (in the winter!) is alot - wow.
On the way to Sadie's house on Tuesday, there were a couple of cars turning the same direction (off of Hwy 30 toward Nevada) as we were. Reagan comments on almost everything she sees, and this was no exception.
Reagan: "Wook mommy, wots of cars!"
Mommy: (halfheartedly and distracted) "Yeah, Reagan, lots of cars."
Reagan: "They're all going to Sadie's house with us!"
Mommy: "Really, you think they're all going with us?"
Reagan: "Yeah! There's awot of people at Sadie's house!"
None of those cars ended up going to Sadie's house, but I suppose it probably does feel that way to Sadie somedays... :-)
--------------------
Today Grant had is 4 mo. check-up. He is almost 18lbs. and in the 80th% for height, 90th% for weight, & 75th% for head size. I keep thinking he's a giant, but I guess he is closer to normal, than what I thought...
