Today we took the kids to the Pumpkin Farm down the road. This is our third year in a row, and the kids love it more each year. They have farm animals to "pet" and a pony for the kids to ride.
In one barn, there were some cages with animals - a turkey, some baby chicks and some rabbits. Reagan and I were bending down, trying to see the bunnies when Grant started crying. I looked up just in time to see the turkey poke its head out of the cage and nip Grant's arm a second time. The turkey was almost as tall as him, and it's beak was sharp, so his fear was rational. :)
When we finished with the animals, there was a tractor that pulled a trailer out to the field so we could pick our own pumpkins.
We all got muddy - even Riley :)
