So today it happened to me. I became "that" mother -- you've seen her -- she's the one you see at the grocery store --- she's red-faced, frustrated, humiliated, and lost for words as her two-year-old screams, cries, and jumps up and down in the check-out aisle. My sweet, sunshine girl turned into the child I swore I would never have... How did this happen? And yet, somehow life goes on.
I am even more grateful that Joel's parents are taking the kids for the weekend... :)
